2021 Candidate Filing Information for Roanoke City and District 11 Virginia House Delegate Candidates
Submit your filing as a 2021 Democratic Candidate anytime between noon on March 8, 2021 and 5pm March 25, 2021. *No filings will be accepted before noon on March 8, 2021 or after 5pm on March 25, 2021. In the event more than one candidate for a particular office is present with a complete filing at noon on March 8, 2021, filings will be considered simultaneous and the State Board of Elections will conduct a drawing to determine ballot order.
To be considered a complete filing, you must include the following in your submission
1.) Declaration of Candidacy form
2.) Filing fee receipt
3.) Petitions of qualified voters

2020 State Delegate Selection Caucus
As a result of the current Covid-19 virus public health emergency, it is not possible for the Democratic Party of Virginia (DPVA) to implement the national convention delegate selection process as set forth in the Virginia Delegate Selection Plan (DSP) and the Call to State Convention. The DPVA is committed to implementing a simple, open, fair, and democratic alternative process for the election of national convention delegates and alternates and doing other necessary party business.
This Call to Caucus supersedes any Calls to Caucus issued by any City or County Democratic Committee.
Use this form to file to be a State Delegate or Alternate to your Congressional District Convention as well as the June 20th State Convention.
Use this form to participate in the selection caucus.
